View Full Version : script to fill owner/admin/billing/tech contact info from whois?
When you enter a domain to transfer, how about a script that does a quick whois and then pulls the owner/admin/billing/tech information into the appropriate form blanks so you don't have to re-enter all this information for each domain you transfer in?

I will forward this suggestion to the developement team. Thanks.

Actually I would instead suggest a better feature, which could exist in addition to that: WHOIS profiles. That is, you could store, edit and apply WHOIS data based on pre-defined profiles you have defined in advance. So when you register a domain or do editing, you can easily select the profile from a drop down menu. :) No need to copy the data from an another domain or insert the data manually.

I'd like to add to this a related suggestion:
When entering a manual transfer, selecting the various check boxes ("same as admin contact", etc.) should dynamically update the info.
