R1 - is there an ETA on this yet? Seems like this would have been resolved rather quickly, considering it's a part of the ICANN accreditation agreement...

It would be nice to get the whois server up and running. It looks a bit odd if a customer does a whois on a domain and gets "Fatal Server Error"

I was able to access the whois for several domain names this morning at http://resellone.net/Whois/Default.aspx, and it worked fine. I just wanted to keep you all updated.

When I went to check it, it was still showing the error. I'll just wait patiently

Hmm...that is really strange, I was able to access the complete whois information for two domains, can you send me a screen shot to domainmanager@resellone.net and the link to where you are receiving the error.

Hi,

Yes, whois works for me too. Thanks for taking care of this Laurie :)

Now the reseller info needs to be fixed in the whois output as it shows

The data for "Registration Service Provider:" does not appear in the result.

Can we get a status update on this?

Thank you.

The last status I got 2/14/06 from the Dev department is below:

changes to code + config 2-3 (cost) days of development + 2 (duration) days to DBA to grant proper permission to user WHOIS to access resellers table in HRS schemas.

It looks like this might take at least a week or so, to get the code change to get promoted to our HRS instance.

I got updated that the code change and promotion of the code to the LIVE HRS instance will happen in Q2 of this year (between March to May). Sorry that it has taken this long. Please email us at support@resellone.net if you have any further questions.

I'm not seeing the RSP info on any of my domains. I even went so far as to completely disable it in both the RWI and per-domain, and then turn it back on... still nothing.

likewise - not working for our domains either. I'll give it a while and get in touch

I have received further information from the development team. All changes will be promoted on June 17,2006 and once and for all we can bury the Whois dilemma. :o) Please let us know if there are any further issues that occur with this after this date. And thanks again for your patience!
