When you confirm a transfer from tucows to resellone (the only ones I've tried so far) the https://rr-n1-tor.opensrs.net/transfers/index.cgi?away=1 confirmation page states:

"Check box here to accept and approve your transfer to Everyones Internet, Ltd. dba resellone.net"

It doesn't bother me - I love EV1 - but I was surprised as everywhere else on the public customer side resellone maintains anonymity rather than announcing "EV1".

And then after you confirm, you get a second email which states simply:

This is to notify you that the domain shown below will be transferred to
Everyones Internet, Ltd. dba resellone.net

domainname.com

I think the idea was not to have EV1 website url plastered all over the place - instead it's resellone.net - and you can't buy single domains at RS1.:p

That is the ICANN name that we are accredited under.

Not sure if something has changed or if it's because of the different TLD. Before on the .com transfer, I saw "Everyones Internet, Ltd. dba resellone.net".

Now I put in for a transfer of a .org FROM EV1/tucows TO the new ResellOne.net/EV1. After the intial confirmation emails with domain/key, today I got an email from tucows:

<snip>
If you wish to cancel the transfer (or to approve it immediately), please contact us before Tue Nov 29 19:10:29 2005
by going to our website,

https://rr-n1-tor.opensrs.net/transfers/index.cgi?away=1 to confirm.
<snip>

What's interesting is that when you click the link and after entering the domain and key, the following page says:

Transfer Away Confirmation for domain-removed-for-forum-post.org

A request has been received to transfer the domain domain-removed-for-forum-post.org away from the Registrar OpenSRS.

Note that ResellOne is not mentioned anywhere in that .org away confirmation - only Everyone's Internet, Ltd. This seems like it could potentially be a problem and very confusing to a potential client since Everyone's Internet, Ltd. is not listed on the ResellOne site. Obviously we know that EV1=ResellOne, but for a client, it seems like it could cause confusion to have the register labeled ResellOne on the website but then "do you wish to transfer to Everyone's Internet, Ltd." on the confirmation from at least the tucows/srs registrar if not other external registrars as well.

I am forwarding these issues to Brooke as she is the one that knows "all" when it comes to the registry differences.

It seems that the transfer response back to the end user/Reseller for certain TLDs will contain whatever name was registered for each TLD, .com and .net, those are the names registered with the Registry.

Ev1servers will remain selling retail domains, however the prices for Ev1domains will be changing soon, I do not have those details at this time, but it is in the works.
