transfer of domain with dns servers

I have a domain in OpenSRS which has dns servers defined. If I transfer it to ResellOne, would it keep the defined dns servers or should I re-define them?

you can keep the existing nameservers on a domain transfer if you wish. You don't have to redefine them. see attached snapshot taken out of the API documentation

oh yes I know that, but what I meant is that one can create dns server entries from manage interface, 'the' dns server entries. I guess they are not moved automatically? not that I am too lazy to re-add them but just wondering :)

When you're placing a transfer order through the RWI interface, if you leave the nameservers blank, no changes will be made and the current nameservers will remain as they are. (It actually used to be required back in the day, but now you have the option of changing if you wish.)

If you mean you have domainabc.com and you've defined ns1.domainabc.com -> 123.456.789.012 and ns2.domainabc.com -> 123.456.789.013 under it at the previous registrar, yes those do transfer in and appear under the defined nameservers after you've transfered domainabc.com to resellone.net

No I guess it is my fault that I wasnt clear,

In manage.resellone.net, in nameservers menu, when you click 'If you want to create or modify a nameserver which is based on blahblah.net click here.' you can create nameservers for the domain. So I have a domain with those in OpenSRS, and I was just wondering if I transfer the domain to resellone, would the settings be lost?

I mean those nameservers :) sorry for the confusion...

Yes, that is what I meant in the post above. No those setting have not been lost for me, at least not when transferring dotster -> R1 or ev1/tucows -> R1
