renew -> transfer timetable not to lose year of registration?

Question:
A domain expired on 10/19/06 with Network Solutions. It was showing the NSI renew or delete page. Paid $35 to renew it on 11/17/06.

At what point can I transfer it to resellone.net without losing the additional year of registration that comes with a transfer?

I think you would be safe 60 days after the date that you renewed the domain.
