SSL Not going nearly as smooth as it usually does... what's the scoop?

Well, normally I go through EV1 (RS) and I order my cert for $49. Takes about 10 min.

This year.

I go on, place the order. Never get an email back.
I contact tech, then I get the email.

I do the telephone call thing.
Never get anything from there... no cert, no nothing...

Anyone know what the deal is? Is it time to look to another source?

I don't like having to spend hours for a simple 5 minute thing.
