View Full Version : Anyone here use a Bank of America mastercard?
Bank of America just merged with or bought out MBNA America, and it appears Bank of America doesn't know what mastercard securecode is even though it was active on the cards until they merged them in from MBNA America
Spent over an hour on hold and with 2 different bank of America reps and they seem to think "mastercard securecode" is the CVV number on the back of the card. Hmmm.
Anyone here have a Bank of America mastercard and know what number or who you might talk to at Bank of America about MasterCard SecureCode?

Hello,
While I can't offer any input on your specific situation, we do offer the choice to manually charge your credit card. For information on this, please email billing@resellone.net. Once on file, we can keep it there for future reference.
In my experience, that is normally the quickest way to get this done outside of the automatic credit card charge. That being said, our parent company is going through changes, and I'm looking at getting us incorporated into their new overall billing program scheme. This would alleviate alot of these types of problems as we could just do away with mastercard securecode and verified by Visa. Those programs have really given alot of our guys headaches...
Thanks!

Thanks Aamir - yes, already got the payment taken care of by emailing you - thanks for the excellent service as always.
I never had a problem with the mastercard securecode as I had been using my MBNA cards for years and they offered securecode from the start. I was a bit shocked when Bank of America merged with them or bought them out and automatically "upgraded" my cards to bank of america cards that they didn't carry over the securecode, or even know what it was on the phone. I would have assumed that such a big CC company would at least be aware of secure code, but it seemed the phone people had no knowledge of it. Unless maybe it's being phased out by mastercard or something (there was only one other online merchant besides resellone where I remember using it, so maybe it just didn't catch on.)

Hello,
In the spirit of that type of issue, which a decent portion of our customers suffer, we've rolled out the ability to send in ONE manual charge form to be kept on record with your contract. It will request that you specify one email address that you will email funding requests to - from then on. Thereafter, you can simply send an email saying something like "$300, card on file".
That's it.
This is available to any and all. We're doing our best to remove roadblocks for you guys. :) Your information WILL of course be subject to inspection by our billing team if we become suspicious of fraudulent activity, but all of our customers are legitimate, so that's a good thing :)
Some of you already email us in this or a similar way, but every now and then still have to give us your credit card details. This process has been put in place to limit the amount of times that you will have to send that information over the net.
Please feel free to email billing@resellone.net if you are interested, and we'll get you taken care of.
Thanks for bearing with us through these VERY trying times!! :D

I have a bank of america visa platinum check/debit card that has verified by visa.
You just go in an open a new account and give the $25 account deposit and you get the card :)

Took 1 day to set up.
I can't say how pleasing a improvement this is.
And I feel good to be able to say something positive.
Now how do I get rid of that silly rudolf red nose looking dot?
(joking... thats the least of my worries! lol)
