View Full Version : Where does $6.50 come from?

I've emailed support this and after a few days I thought this was resolved but apparently not. I hope to shed some light into this problem as I'm planning to transfer dozens of my domains and I don't want to deal with this problem over and over again.

I tested a transfer for one of my domains as a test, the transfer went well but I realized that I was charged $6.50 for the transfer. Upon emailing support, they didn't seem to have any idea why the system is charging me $6.50 ... but the tier pricing changed entirely and it looked like everyone was set to $6.49.

A day or two later, I transferred another account, I used the same 'Registrant Profile Information' as the first transfer and I was correctly charged $6.49 and the account transferred fine.

Today, I went to start transferring all my domains over, but today's first transfer charged me $6.50 again. The only thing I did different was create a new 'Registrant Profile Information' so I could keep my business and personal domains separate.

So my question is whether or not anyone else has experienced this problem and to ResellOne, I'm bringing it to the forums to get some more attention to this problem as I'm planning on registering and transferring thousands of domain and this 'minor' problem will definitely turn into a 'major' problem for me unless permanently fixed.

I'd appreciate a careful investigation into the cause of this issue; I don't think I am doing anything wrong on my end but typing in transfer orders manually... but if I am doing something wrong, feel free to point it out for me.

Thank you.

Same here. It appears transfers are charged 1 cent more for some reason.

Well, glad I wasn't the only one. Was wondering why my account would be singled out of the one cent. Hopefully this can get cleared up soon.

We have checked every account's pricing and have not been able to ascertain where this is coming from, so we have escalated this to the development team. Please email domainmanager@resellone.net each confirmation that you receive of the orders, including your account user ID, and we will credit the account. I apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused, and can assure you that this is a priority.

Okay, this should be completely resolved. Brooke went through each accounts pricing again and it should not happen any more. If anyone has any issues with their pricing please email us at domainmanager@resellone.net so that we can get it resolved as quickly as possible. Anyone that has emailed us already regarding being charged the $6.50 instead of the $6.49 for a transfer, that has not already received credit to their account needs to forward their confirmation email to billing@resellone.net so that we can credit their account. Please include your account username in any correspondence. Thank to all for your patience.

I don't think I have an email from you regarding this, I could be wrong of course but if you have not been credited forward the transfer order confirmation to us at billing@resellone.net so that I can take care of this. Thanks!
