View Full Version : Billing failure
We are experiencing this error since yesterday morning... We are currently unable to register any new domain even if we have enough credit.

We are experiencing the same problem. It is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional of resellone to have this outstanding issue. It has been affecting us for almost 24hrs and we have orders that need to be processed.
This is not the first issue we have had with resellone and are seriously considering switching providers. Not at all happy..

I am receiving the same error when I try to confirm a transfer:
Could not issue transfer: Unable to process transfer for XXXXXX.com: Billing failure.
Does anybody know phone number to ResellOne? :)
Thanks,
Evren

This already is intolerable, 48 hours without operation, answer of ResellOne, do not work nor the renovations of domains. That is this? I am thinking if to continue with this people. You give answers!

Agreed. It's been too long. I'm only small scale, but the endless problems I have experienced with ResellOne has still affected sales. Not even an ETA or anything. Live chat simply says "sorry". What on earth is sorry going to do? I don't want an apology just fix your systems!!!

Lets be realistic. Obviously OpenSRS/Tucows is not giving good service to ResellOne. It seems like this wont change anytime soon. We have 700+ domain years registered with resellone in past 6 months. But I think I would rather pay 50cents/domain more and go to another registrar if this goes on like this. Can anybody recommend one? has anybody used eNom?

All,
Please attempt to complete any pending registrations that have resulted from the billing error. We believe this particular issue to be resolved, but would like any feedback to the contrary, or reports of other related issues that may have been obscured by this serious blocking error.
Thank you all for your help! The normal support channels would be the best avenue for further error reporting, although feel free to PM me directly as well if you prefer. (And "Hello" to everyone, as I'm not a regular on this side of the business. :) )
More details to come, once we have confirmed resolution -- and our sincere apologies in the meantime for the trouble.
Best Regards,
-Rick
Got an error just now when trying to order a new .org domain.
http://forum.resellone.net/showthread.php?t=578
Is this issue ongoing, recurring, or is this an unrelated incident?
Just tried to process the order again, and once again get
Order 153620 (<domain removed for forum post>.org) not registered: 2104:Billing failure ((ACCOUNT:1381 NSF, TRID:259128263)).
(I have $485 in my reseller account currently on deposit)
Instead of just hitting process for the pending order I put in a separate new order for the same .org domain.
Once again I got:
Order 153843 for domain <removed for forum post>.org saved, but not registered:.
2104:Billing failure ((ACCOUNT:1381 NSF, TRID:259143220))
Please review this order under "View Pending Orders"
I was able to add 3 years to a .com fine, but it appears I'm not able to order a .org domain at this time... have not tried a new registration for other TLD's.

I don't know exactly how it works on the registry-registrar side, but at first glance that looks like maybe ResellOne needs to put some more money in its account with the .org registry?
Same issue happening here on .org's. Not happening on my SRSplus or OpenSRS accounts, so it can't be a registry-level issue...

It's happening again :(
Go to online chat and made resellone support to try the same thing from within your account. Once you convince them that there is a problem, they can ask help from OpenSRS. From what I heard, OpenSRS doesnt believe to ResellOne that there is a problem in the system until they send screenshots and the account number with the problem and an example case.
This is a big problem for intermittent problems like the cookie problems as OpenSRS obviously doesnt think that there is a problem and ResellOne cant prove that there is a problem, so OpenSRS doesnt fix it.
Thanks,
Evren
It's interesting that they need screen shots when the error codes are given. Or is the error code 2104:Billing failure ((ACCOUNT:1381 NSF, TRID:259143220)) generic?
Sounds like resellone forgot to fund their account with the .org registry..
Got a reply on The Planet forum that this should be resolved now.

I never did get a response to my email sent to the resellone support email address though.

You should get a response soon enough i'd imagine. Most likely depend on the size of their inbox as a result of the problem. I always get one when I ask for notification of it being fixed.
