Will Modernbill be an easy (no complicated programming) way to provide live domain registrations to our customers via resellone?

Modern Bill is a compatable program that can be used for charging your end users, then the API, once completed will allow your end users to order domains from your site without your having to go into the RWI to process their requests. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Well after hours of fiddling I got OpenSRS to work with in ModrenBill

If you need any help just let me know ....... I will sit diwn and write a how to as soon as I can. Its not that hard really just one file to edit.
The openSRS_base.php

on line 75 set it too HRS

lines 78 - 83 set host and port to
host resellers.resellone.net
port 52000

Be sure that port is open in your fire wall and give it a try.

Thanks go to kasey and aventureben for some good points and tips.

Where do you get the unencrypted version of those files, because the ones I have are encrypted. Thanks for the great work!

Looking for instructions on setting up Modernbill's opensrs to work with Resellone. As has been stated above the file is encrypted. So, what settings do you configure within modernbill's CP under registrar's and what do you need to edit the opensrs.php file from modernbill, then what specifically do you edit.

Thanks.

look in the directory include/misc/mod_opensrs directory there is a file called openSRS_base.php

Just edit the lines

on line 75 set it too HRS

lines 78 - 83 set host and port to
host resellers.resellone.net
port 52000

Thats all I needed to do and the file was not encrypted I think the only time they are encrypted is if you have the demo version

Is that for MB v4? I don't see that file, what I have is opensrs.php for MB v5.

After years of being with ModernBill I have left them and now use another software. There are a number of pieces of software out there that are much better and don't put you through the hell that MB does. V5 does not support Resellone or many others. They basically made it to support their guys that give them kickbacks. I am looking into a few that support Reselleone.net and others. Oh - and these others - you don't have to teach a tech class to customers so they can order or pay their bills. I plan to put up a site shortly ihatemb.org and it will have alternatives.
