If this is posted at the wrong spot, I apologize in advance...
Do you have any plans on offering some sort of service like Tucows does with Whois Privacy? I know it's not on your feature list, but it's a popular feature with my current client base and it would be great if you could provide an ETA or make a statement on whether this is not planned to be offered at all...
I'm not sure if I violate any rules, but here is a link with more information on what I am referring to:

Does using such a privacy service endanger losing any rights if a client's domain is ever involved in a dispute down the road?

Privacy: Registrants' personal information is fully protected from exposure in public WHOIS databases.
Control: Registrants still retain full ownership and control of their domains.

I think this would be fairly easy to setup by oneself. Since the only emails to the listed email address will be spam just dump all of it. The domain system will send due emails out to the reseller so just set up a forwarding system. It's a bit of work but probably worth it, as this is a fairly value added service.
I used to run something like this on the old system...:p

I have to admit that I did not know what a typical whois entry with the Tucows Whois Privacy would look like. I was assuming that it was similiar to the competitor I am moving domains away from.
The positive aspect of the old service provider I was using was that even the domain owner's real life address, phone number, etc remained private on public whois queries and were not revealed. If someone needs to contact a domain owner for legal reasons, the mail is passed on to the domain owner.
I just did a little bit of research and it looks like the "whois privacy" service would offer a similiar service, as their public whois records typically seem to look like this for any domain:
Registrant:
Contactprivacy.com
96 Mowat Ave
Toronto, ON M6K3M1
CA
Domain name: examplename.com
Administrative Contact:
contactprivacy.com examplename@contactprivacy.com
96 Mowat Ave.
Toronto, ON M6K 3M1
CA
+1.4165385457
Technical Contact:
contactprivacy.com examplename@contactprivacy.com
96 Mowat Ave.
Toronto, ON M6K 3M1
CA
+1.4165385457
Registration Service Provider:
(RSP info)
Registrar of Record: TUCOWS, INC.
Record last updated on (date).
Record expires on (date).
Record created on (date).
Domain servers in listed order:
(DNS servers)
Of course, Freddo's approach would definitely work too. It's definitely something you can set up yourself, but having such a service as an option for automatic setups would just be a lot more convenient. :)

If this option is offered it won't be for some time yet.

you might want to take it off your feature page - http://www.resellone.net/products/domains.aspx

I see, however, this is not active at this time, I will forward this issue to Brooke, for a final answer though.

That is correct. I was working under the assumption we would offer Whois Privacy when I wrote the site content. I thought I had successfully removed all mention of Whois Privacy before sending the final draft to development, but I may have missed this one. Thank you for pointing out the error.

Whois privacy is not an option we currently offer, no. It isn't something we're looking to add anytime soon either, but if it's something you, want asking for it in the forums always has been and always will be the best place to do it. Anybody else want whois privacy?

\o/ I do. I've been using ID Protect by eNom (same as Tucows Whois Privacy I suppose) and it has became quite popular "value add" service and many clients wish to have it.

Another request for whois privacy.
We know :), and we are working on a launch date for that feature and will let you know as soon as we have the logistics of it worked out.
Same here, whois privacy can be a valuable service for us too, many customers are requesting it as well.

Apparently this won't happen without additional support from customers requesting the service.

What kind of customer support is needed for this?
Thanks,
