View Full Version : Automatic DNS management service with every new domain
Is it possible? Can I set my account preferences in order to have the DNS management service set up with every new registered domain?
Thanks

Not that I know of. You could certainly pull something like that off with the API, but Managed DNS is set up as a separate order. (You don't even have to have domains registered at ResellOne to use the Managed DNS feature.)
And even through the API, it requires some screwy things like a separate management username/password (for your end-user) and a few other quirks. I'm still trying to make sense of it myself, based off of the OpenSRS docs.

I think so, however the big issue is how, unfortunately the documentation is still incomplete, I'm sure this feature will be fully documented in future, but I was wondering if anyone has found already a solution.

The help documentation is going through the final phases of edits (there are quite a few), and should be release soon. Please email us any specific issues to support@resellone.net.
The documentation you are speaking about will contain also these informations? I mean the command we have to pass to the API in order to activate DNS management service?
Thanks

The DNS management is active through your account, to access this feature go to the RWI2, through your RWI. Please email us at support@resellone.net for account specific information.
I see, however I wasn't referring to the RWI2, but to the access to this feature through the API.

THe RWI2 access is your administrative access. The script that you write to use with the API is how you would access that particular service. The API will support all of the prodcuts and services that we offer.
