How long does it take for domain trasnfers?

I've tried 2 domain transfers from different registrars and since 26th it is still on "Pending Registry Approval".

how long should it take?

What registrar is it coming from?

- OpenSRS Resellers : Normally within 24 hours
- We've had a few coming from godaddy, and they tend to take about a week

Inbound domain transfers being slow is normally a result of the losing registrar being slow, not ResellOne itself.

Generally it takes one week for a complete transfer

Generally 1 week, but the owner of the domain might receive an e-mail to confirm the transfer (different than e-mail confirmation to start the transfer) then it would take 2 days. But sending that e-mail is at the other registrars hands. They might or not send it.

Hi,

On GD domains that are being transfered to RS1 that I have complete control over, it normally takes me 15 minutes. It has been very very fast for these transfers. With some other companies it has taken a couple of days to a week for the transfers.

Yes, it's coming from 1and1 and it took just over a week. :-(
