Interesting. I used to order my Geotrust QuickSSL certificates from EV1. I'd go through the telephone verification and SSL approval process and get the new certificate in minutes.
Now when I order from ResellOne I don't get the telephone authorization (fine with me but I wonder why not). However, twice in a row my order has received this message once I approved the order:
Approval
Order Queued for Review
As part of GeoTrust's ongoing commitment to prevent fraud, some orders are randomly flagged for an additional security review. Please note that this order will not be fulfilled until GeoTrust completes this manual security review. Thank you for your patience.
This only happened once (and I know why it did) back when I ordered through the EV1 pages.
Is there some reason why we're being flagged more often through ResellOne?
Anyone else getting this?

There is no reason that I am aware of that would cause you to get flagged through your reseller account order, more often, than the possibility of being flagged through an order at Ev1servers. Please email us at support@resellone.net if you would like us to review the orders and see if there is something that we could pinpoint to these specific orders.

I don't get the authorization phone calls anymore either.
Could that have something to do with it?
Edit: nope, I just did another, and didn't get a phone call, but wasn't manually reviewed. Chalk it up to coincidence, I guess.

I will recheck the phone call verification policies regarding certs bought through your reseller accounts, I was under the impression that the confirmation process would not change. Please email us at support@resellone.net if you have any further questions.

Okay I just got updated, and Resellone certs do not require the same telephone confirmation that Ev1servers does. I hope this clears things up for all.

It's now months later, and what I initially thought was just bad luck or a random glitch has shown itself to be totally consistent.
I've ordered many certificates through ResellOne since my last post.
I get "randomly flagged" for manual review EVERY SINGLE TIME unless I'm doing RapidSSL instead of QuickSSL.
Is there any way you can investigate why this is happening? It's slowing down my deployment of sites. What used to be a ten minute process now sometimes takes days. Please help!

I received your email and would appreciate it if you could forward the mesage that you receive regarding this issue, since as you say there is a consistency to the flagging of your orders there may be something that you are adding in the orders that is causing them to be flagged. Without your emailing us all of the specific information we cannot have it investigated as you would like. You can email this to support@resellone.net, please include all order numbers that have been flagged so that we can contact GeoTrust to investigate this. Please understand that we really do not have policy control of GeoTrust's investigations.

Of course I know you're not in control of Geotrust's policies for flagging an order for review.
I will gather data and submit it to you via email. If / when we resolve this, I'll followup with a forum post.

I have been watching for your email, and have yet to receive it?
